John “Jonzo” Murombo

Profile

John “Jonzo” Murombo holds a special place in Valley Panthers FC history as one of the key figures involved in choosing both the names “Shekwe” and “Valley Panthers FC.”

As a striker during the club’s early years, Jonzo was part of the group that helped shape the identity and character of the team from its earliest days. His contribution represents a time when the club was still taking its first steps and building the traditions that would carry forward.

While his playing chapter lasted from 2021 to 2022, his connection to the club goes beyond those seasons. His name remains attached to the story of how the Panthers came to be.

Some players leave memories on the pitch. Others become part of the story behind the badge. Jonzo is both.
