Forward · Valley Panthers FC 2022–2023
Profile
Cliff Maturi holds his place in Shekwe history as a forward whose name remains attached to one of the club’s memorable moments.
During his time with the Panthers, Cliff produced a moment that would live long in the memories of those who witnessed it — a famous volley at Jombe, a strike that became part of the stories told about the club’s early years.
It was the kind of goal that stays with a football club: the technique, the timing and the moment combining to create a memory that outlived the match itself.
His chapter at Shekwe lasted from 2022 to 2023, but the image of that volley remains part of the club’s football folklore.
A memory that remains forever.
